Isaac Fairbairn

BA, MA, JD (expected 2026)

Isaac was raised in England, New Zealand and Canada. He completed his BA and MA in English literature at the University of British Columbia. During his master’s degree, funded by the SSHRC Canada Graduate Scholarship, Isaac presented his research at an international conference and held two graduate teaching assistant positions.

Following a 99th percentile Law School Admissions Test (LSAT) score, Isaac received a scholarship to pursue his JD at Columbia Law School. At Columbia, Isaac is a Moot Court Teaching Fellow, Staff Editor for the Columbia Science and Technology Law Review, and Co-President of the Columbia Law Racquet Sports Club.

Isaac helps students improve their LSAT, CARS (MCAT), GMAT, GRE, and SAT scores and their academic writing. Outside of teaching, Isaac enjoys exploring New York, playing squash, and improving his online chess ELO!
